Who We Are

A distinct
mixed-media style.

At Charcoal Golf, we turn iconic golf holes into timeless works of art. Each piece is brought to life by our artist, Mark Rivard, through his distinct mixed-media style, blending charcoal, watercolor, Sharpie, and colored pencil to give you a lasting keepsake of the course and the moments that made it special.

Working out of Minneapolis, Mark brings an urban sensibility to the classic architecture of the game's foremost clubs and courses, from Prairie Dunes and Landmand to Sweetens Cove and Te Arai Links.

For Clubs & Courses

From fairway to frame.

The Charcoal Golf Blueprint is how we collaborate with clubs, courses, and organizations on meaningful, custom work, partnerships that respect tradition while embracing creativity.

The Model

One connected program: the original is the source, the prints are the recurring business.

  1. We create original artwork of your course. A one-of-a-kind painting of a signature hole, or the whole set. It hangs in your clubhouse; the prints become your product.
  2. You sell hand-signed prints to members and guests. Reorderable on demand. Revenue that returns season after season.
